A Message From Our Founder
Welcome to DemosTours.com! I am Dean Demos, CEO and Founder of the company! My family has enjoyed assisting travelers for generations. While in the Merchant Marines my grandfather developed a love for exploring the world and interacting with other cultures. Later on, he immigrated to the United States and settled the in New York City area. He opened up a coffee cart on Ellis Island where loved chatting with all the new immigrants and learning about their experiences and cultures. Quite often someone would not have enough money to purchase the coffee. My grandfather never turned away a person in need. Instead, he would give them the coffee in exchange for a story about their homeland and culture. He loved learning about our global community and that passion lives on!
During my childhood, we spent our summers touring around Europe. My father worked as a tour guide in exchange for our family coming along on the tour. After each tour we would explore on our own for a few weeks. I was blessed with learning about new cultures first hand from an early age. By the age of seventeen, I had seen more of the world than most people do in their lifetime. As I have gotten older, my passion for traveling the world, experiencing new cultures and discovering the paths less traveled has only grown. I have created DemosTours as a way to share my passion of world exploration with you.

My goal is to provide the tools that allow the global community to experience its rich diversity one person at a time.
